I had IDEAS for venues and how to acquire them...but before we can even approach them, we need to guarantee a good head count (that's where the idea for the "promise to buy tickets list" came in). We'd essentially take the list, show it to the own...
Congrats, Jer! You give me hope that one day I too will have a wonderful wife and children despite my nerdy leanings.
I can see it now: A whole house of children running around, all dressed as Rufio.
Once again, rock on, Dad! Rock on!
Thanks, Stevie! But really...how come no one has thought of using that Scott panel on this forum before? THAT'S amazing and we should all do it when we want to mention that something is awesome.
To tell you the truth, while I was getting the costume ready, I was crowing and reciting lines from the movie...but when I finally took the costume out, I got kinda embarrassed that EVERYONE recognized me and kept chanting RU-FI-OOOOO that all I c...
Aw, sorry dude...well, it might just be your comp. The picture was of a guy dressed as the Spy from Team Fortress 2. I totally showed my nerd card by recognizing it, though.
This was me.
Oh, and Morgan...I think you'll appreciate this dude's costume. I ran into him at a party and turned out to be the ONLY person who knew who he was supposed to be.
Hahahaha...picking out women's clothing? Tommy's a gay!
(says Jonaas, who just spent three hours on Melrose helping the sorta-ex pick out a purple dress).
Just kidding, I don't work in that department.
Thanks for even telling me about the helmet though, seriously! I heard it had built in sound effects or something too.. those would have been fun to remove and attach to my cat.
I've been to more Goodwills and Salvation Armies than I can count, and would you believe NONE of them had used Mega Man costumes?? This country IS in the gutter.
I'm actually thinking of turning the motorcycle helmet into a Protoman helmet. I just need to learn how to.. do... that..
You know what my favorite part about Frank & Son is?? THE CHURROS. I swear to Cinnomak, God of Pastry: best churros ever. And I've partaken in many a churro in my time. Also, Daniel Logan is there a lot, so it feels like hangin' out with with Boba Fett..
We actually carved the cannon out of styrofoam, and then we're going to put a layer of liquid fiber glass over that, and then paint it. I want it to light up, though... LIKE THIS KID!
...I wish MY dad was that cool.
Yeah, just let me know about the helmet. No rush though! I'll just be... dreaming... about it...
You are amazing. Next time I wish upon a star, it will be that you get a REAL British accent.
...I actually bought a motorcycle helmet online thinking I'd use that, but it's kind of big, and definitely kind of a waste of $50. This, on the otherhand, looks perfect. Can you find me a working buster cannon too?? Thanks!
Just kidding (not really though. Find it!). I don't mind driving out there, either. I believe the 60 also leads to Frank & Son Collectibles
