Wow, Judd Apatow, Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill. Who would of ever thought they'd do a movie together?!

Oh come on

2-3 years ago people were all with Apatow

Now they treat him like he's Micheal Bay
He hasnt made a bad movie yet so why the hate?

Ill be honest with you...I just dont like when people keep making the same type of thing over and over with the same exact cast. It's why Im not really liking Tarantino anymore because he can't change up his formula. You go into the movie and you see exactly what you were expecting and it becomes way too self conscious of itself. Foot moment, black "bad ass" character, talking out loud about a movie he likes, long shots of people talking about nonsense unrelated to anything, etc.

And I'll also admit that this Ghostbusters 3 thing has me really bummed out. The first is my favorite movie ever, been dying to see a new movie for 19 years, and now we might finally be getting one but chances are Judd Apatow will turn it into another sex/stoner fest with Seth Rogen as a lead character. I've heard people say not to worry because he wouldn't do that, but I have yet to see a movie he's done that defied the norm and didn't include outrageous sex moments and things.

dude ghostbusters is so 80s
it is good but not "best movie ever" material
i know you have a soft spot for it & is nostalgic - thus represents everything good & better about the years in your childhood the good ol' days

but, cmon man you've matured

& as much as Judd apataw is stock & the same cast & characters they have their place - like the Simpson & family guy they mostly consist of the same material but are good & dependable at the right moments - unlike the notion of ghostbusters 3

Best movie ever and favorite movie are different things. I'm not rating the acting, story, directing to Godfather standards, but the unique brand of comedy, the specific characters, and the plot are awesome and makes it my favorite movie ever. I guess alot of people don't like Ghostbusters 2, but I love that movie also even with it's cartoony elements taken from the tv series. Has nothing to do with nostalgia, the first movie holds up very well and it remains funny. Unfortunately I think that type of comedy has been lost to the ages, and replaced by one dimensional fart and "people falling over" jokes. So yah, even if you love Apatow and Rogen, their brand of comedy is not compatible with Ghostbusters 1 and 2, and I call shenanigans on getting them involved in the first place. Apatow confirmed, Rogen rumored.

Keep them both in their element, where the fans of each can go get their unfiltered comedy. Ghostbusters can stay Ghostbusters, with Ghostbusters brand subtle humor, and Apatow can still do what he does best. I just don't want to see Rogen in the back of the Ecto-1 with pot smoke pouring out the windows.
It looks like though that Funny People is stepping away from the Sex/Stoner humor though.

You must admit tho...Bill Hader will make a good Ray.

Ghostbusters three should be about the original ghostbusters getting a movie deal. Apatows guys are playing the ghostbusters but they are pansy ass actors and the original ghostbusters tke them out to bust some real ghosts to train them so they can be good in the movie.

wait thats kinda like Tropic Thunder...DAMN IT!

well anyways...Apatow is the main villain cause he gets possesed by a demon and its up to the original and the new cast of ghostbusters to save him

Funny People looks like one of those heart warming movies that make you feel good at the end: Juno, Nick and Norahs Infinite Playlist, August Rush, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, etc...

well, funny people was okay... wat you end up expecting, exactly, from the reviews. Not very funny. not funny enough atleast. the drama was done pretty well, THE RZA, and the ending's really nice.

but serously, AZIZ WASNT EVEN THAT FUNNY! THAT'S BULL***T

oh, and FAR too long. i mean, WAY too long.

Not so much a trailer but a clip from Watchmen:

Judging by this I think the movie will be amazing, although I read it has some problems in a couple scenes. I love the tone, music, and atmosphere of these segments and have no doubt Rorschach will be as close as you can get to perfection.

I saw a 3:30 a.m. IMAX screening of "Watchmen". I gotta admit, I was not only surprised by the amount of detail in the movie, but as of now, I think this is currently the best movie of 2009. The climax of the film differs a lot from the book, but the film's climax actually seems more logical to me. SPOILER WARNING!: The scene near the end with Rorschach's demise is extremely well-done. Nite Owl watches his death from a distance, and when the camera pulls away, it shows Rorschach's remains splattered on the ground in the symmetrical pattern from the book that looks like two people close to one another. It was all very neat.
