I just made a few cosmetic changes to the ning to spruce things up!!

I am working on a revised edition of the scottpilgrim.com site, so I thought doing this real quick might help me get in the groove.

...stop hating on Ramona... KEIICHI-CHAN. Your facts are spurious... consider how much information you're getting from Envy Adams and/or the Twins. Maybe they are lying about some things? Or exaggerating? Chill out!

The movie seems to be going well... I'm sure you will enjoy it, and then come back and complain about it on the forum. It's not coming out until next summer, though, so you have some time.

i wondered if MAL would react to that tangent by quietly thinking 'ha! i am great to illicit such emotion over a fictional character is a sure sign i am writing them well.' or 'shut up until you read volume 6! when volume 6 comes out i will make you look like such a fool! if i see you at a convention, i will spit on your shoes!...PRICK!!"

i do realize we havent been given ANY of rammy's backstory yet, and upon finally seeing what's up she will probably become more sympathetic or whatever. i do get bitter relationship flashbacks when i see a girl casually make out with someone else and kind of shrug it off(like in vol 4) as if anything outside of sex isn't 'reeeeally' cheating because i've been through that. i will try and chill out with the ramona bashing - if only so i can get my sp stuff signed without it reading ' F.U. and the ramona hate you spew on the net -bryan lee o'mal '. like i mentioned, i don't even dislike ramona as a character or a person. i just get a gut reaction to some of her more hypocrisy ridden actions in a relationship, because it hits really close to home. i promise i won't do it again, mr. o'malley. please don't spit on my shoes.

I just think it's funny because you've positioned yourself as the authority on Ramona Being A Bitch!

and one little thing.. the line in vol 4 about making out with Roxie, i always saw it as just Ramona making a joke... but it seems like a ton of people pick up on that line and use it as a reason to hate her. So, in conclusion, I'm a bit sorry I threw that line in there.

Hey, Mr O'Malley, as long as you're around: are you surprised at people thinking Ramona Is A Bitch? To me, she seems written to be complex, forthright and more than a bit wounded, but I can see why people could see that as bitchy.

Same here, I really like Ramona, and I feel bad for her more than anything. And in any moment when she's not concerned with something from her past, she just seems fun. I can see how at some points she seems "bitchy," but really it seems like (from what we know, anyway) she has a legitimate reason to be. Either way, when I started reading the series, she easily became one of my favorite cartoon characters of all time.

I never thought she was a bitch. Besides, Scott had more foul play in the relationship than Ramona did, although I still think both of them are genuinely good people.

Upon first reading it I figured Roxie seduced Ramona on behalf of Gideon. Anything to ruin Scott's precious little life.
